BENJAMIN BRITTEN EXHIBITION AT THE MANSION

Visitors to the new exhibition can see a jacket, shoes and slippers belonging to Benjamin Britten, who was born in 1913. The clothing has been loaned by the Britten-Pears Foundation (BPF) in Aldeburgh. His sister’s wedding dress and coat, in the collections of Ipswich Museum, are also highlights of the display.
Christchurch Mansion is open Tuesdays to Saturdays 10am -5pm.

To celebrate the start of this year’s much anticipated Christmas truck tour, Coca-Cola has uncovered ‘Kindness Hotspots’ - the cities and towns across Great Britain where people have been going above and beyond to bring joy to others and Ipswich is one of them!
The iconic Christmas truck will be at Ipswich Cornhill on Monday 16th December and the area will be transformed into a snowy winter wonderland where anyone can get up close to the truck, have their picture taken and get in the Christmas spirit thanks to a fantastic choir singing seasonal carols, whilst festive elves serve chilled Coca-Cola.
